Read the full guideHow boron helps pollen and fruit set, why flower and fruit drop often trace back to boron, and why the gap between too little and too much is small.
Boron lets pollen germinate and grow, so it decides how many flowers become fruit or seed. That is why boron shortage shows as flower drop, poor set and cracked fruit. But the gap between the boron a crop needs and the amount that burns its leaves is small, so boron should be applied to a soil test and the label, at the right stage, and never doubled.

Doses depend on the crop, soil and product, so this page gives methods, not amounts. Take the dose from your soil test report, the product label or your local agriculture officer or KVK. Results differ from farm to farm with soil, weather, crop and management. Farmer experiences on this site are their own reports, not a promise of results.
